Before DW
Weltall-ID is the true form of Weltall. When analyzed Weltall held several unexplainable black boxes. These were transformation parts that would trigger and activate when Fei released enough energy for them to. For the most part this would only happen when the ID persona emerged. Weltall-ID was defeated by the Omnigear Vendetta by Ramsus. Its power remains in the rebuilt Weltall-II however it did not transform into the red gear.
The DW
When Fei is was pulled to another dimension and Xenogears powers down it becomes Weltall once more. Returning to ability for Weltall to become this state. When Weltall is upgraded to Weltall-II it is never seen again though Weltall-II now resembles this state when using 'system-id'. This disappears when the gear becomes Xenogears but returns when it reverts back to its previous form.
Battles
Weltall-ID in DW is only used in one actual battle with the dimensional warriors. When the group encounters the massive floating city of Solaris. There a clone of Fei in the form of ID appears using a copied Weltall-ID. Fei knowing whats at stake triggers the awakening of his darker persona and a battle of crimson blasts erupts through the skies. Due to Fei being resistant ID isn't capable of using all of his powers and loses to his clone. Weltall is captured with Fei.
Capabilities
Physical
Weltall-ID is capable of high speed hand to hand combat and is known for its ability to cover massive distances of land in relatively short time. The ether energy flowing through its frame makes it resilient to just about everything except the level of combat that an Omnigear or a high powered E.S might bring to the table. Channeling its ether it can plow through just about anything at mind shattering speeds.
Magical
The hyper ether drive that activates in this form allows this gear to perform massive feats of strength. Its ether is so dense it can survive a ship or several ships several times large than itself and deflect them or hold and toss them with extreme force using ether energy alone. Its capable of leveling cities with waves of this energy. Its activation alone is enough to level a small town leaving only charred remains.
