History

Lunar Colony Miirka II is a small moon orbiting Planet Irisia. When Irisia was nearing the point of overpopulation, an exodus project was developed. This project involved the building of the first Lunar Dome on Miirka II. Though there was a lot of problems in this first project. Radiation Shields failing and people being sick out of gamma rays, construction accidents. After all, they had to get the raw material off planet Irisia and bring it to the moon. The journey at the time was a two weeks travel that required a lot of the planet's resources. However, they persevered through the project and over a span of ten years the Hope dome was finally built. At this time, Hope Dome was a rather rudimentary dome with a plant-based primary life support system, infirmary, dormitory capable of hosting no more then a hundred people. Only scientists and workers for the Exodus project were allowed to live on Hope dome.

Over the years, and using the Moon's resources, the other domes began building much faster. The second dome, baptized Life dome, was a giant life support system that would be the primary lung for the Dome Network. As they built domes, the started also extending somewhat below the moon's surface. With the Life dome complete it was possible to support 50,000 people with food, oxygen and water. They continued extending the domes further and further, until the whole visible-facet of Miirka II was scattered with industrial, Life, colonial dome.

To prevent fatal failures, each domes are connected to a network of shuttles over the surface, and tunnels under the surface. If one dome is to begin venting air, there is a 10 minutes count-down before the several doors in each tunnels surrounding the dome close shut.

Politics

Each Domes have its own leader. Military Domes are ruled by the highest ranked military stationed there, while civilian domes are ruled by a Vice-President elected by the inhabitants of the said Dome. The President is voted by all the dome's people, even those part of Military domes as the President's words can also influence military. The Current government is a democrat rule with President Ronald Hardiman at its lead.
