History

Corrine's history is kind of a messed one, and she doesn't seem to have problems talking about it. If your character doesn't know about it, just ask her and she'll let you know. I will place it here to saving me a lot of typage over IRC in the future.

Back then, she used to be a treasure hunter(THIEF!). She was one of the best, actually. The story however, happens in a time line that will never be. It all started out whens he was 16. Already a daredevil and adventurer, she was guiding a group of people over to find a Relic of Power that could hopefully be used to defeat the evils that were consuming the world. Evermore gone mad, Laughing Boy, and so forth. She set out with them to the most probable location where they could find such a relic. The Relic of Creation after all, was one of the tool Wilhelm would use to begin the process of rewinding the Universe's long ass tape.

However, as soon as she got there, one of the hired companions of hers revealed himself to be a demon. A Soul Eater, and the first that got attacked was the guide. He ripped a portion of her soul out, devouring it, before the other two planted swords and bullets into his body until he could no longer move. But Corrine was dieing. With her soul thus damaged, none of the other two were capable of healing her as her body was starting to die starting from her toes. Necroses blackening her skin as death was starting to welcome the soul-less sections of her body. However, something that was in no books happened. There was a guardian for the Relic of Creation, one that witnessed and couldn't bear to watch that poor girl screaming in suffer as her body was dieing inch by inch. The spirit, named Shiro, took the amulet itself, and with Spiritual Fire, burned seals over Corrine's skin. The Seal covering the whole body, the process smelled of burning skin, and after some unsuccessful attempts at warding Shiro (as the spiritual wolf didn't have a body at the time) the two ran away leaving the guide to a certain death.

Shiro however wasn't trying to kill Corrine. The seals he burnt into her would serve him as a prison, as he bound his own Spiritual Energy to Corrine's soul to fix the damage that was done with his own existence. The amulet was placed about Corrine's neck, and when she woke up, she couldn't remember a single thing. The wounds were gone, the seal was gone, but so were her memories.

She left the cave, guided by a voice in her head... and headed to the closest village. A village that was refusing the come of the new order, and so they hid and lived out of their own crops, their own water. Corrine relearned everything while in this village. She learned martial arts, and cooking to help the village's survival and defense. Overtime, she realized that some of the amulet's tremendous creative power had bled on her soul.

The Amulet of Creation's power granted her Magic. Though, whenever Corrine draws power, it reveals Shiro's seal in the form of burning red scars over her skin. Though, the Evermore Empire wouldn't allow this village to strive for too long, and soon raided it. Everyone who fought were killed, survivors were brought to be jailed and conditioned for their new life under the Empiror's Reign of Terror.

The Source

Where does Corrine's power come from exactly? Some relic, or some other events? You are going to find out if you keep on reading this.

At first, Corrine's powers were driven from the madness caused from her recovery. Strange spells only one who saw a Quiet could see through. Though, as time passed, she recovered, and her mind changed. With that, the spells began slowly fading away. The more powerful spells of the genre completely disappeared after the first come of Shirrine. Why? How? It is simple. Corrine possessed a seal, a seal that prevented Shiro, also called her DaemonStream from tempering with the rest of her. It also bound him to her, ensuring that his spirit will not let go of hers, and she would thus die. However, in an attempt to draw more power from her DaemonStream, she fused her soul with it. She fused herself with Shiro, and on that day, the seal shattered. The event nearly killed Corrine, as Wilhelm had to spiritually heal her afterward, but that was the beginning of the end.

Since that day, her Daemonstream has started to mingle and alter her Lifestream. Slowly her Lifestream is changing. She is unable to control her lifestream, but her telepathic link with Shiro lets her control the Daemonstream. She can use it to willingly alter her spirit and lifestream, granting her temporary immortality or great power.

Then came the second event. In a great feat of rage, during the events of Nigelle when she saw the whole civilisation be wiped out, she entered Phase Two. In this phase, the Daemonstream fuses with her Lifestream, altering her physical form and granting her great powers, though it is rather costly, and cannot be maintained for very long. Lifestream begins deteriorating after a while. It thus cannot be maintained for longer then a minute or a few.

However, there comes the problem. On Phase Three, the Daemonstream begins to -feed- on the Lifestream. Though at first, it won't be able to feed enough to kill her, eventually, it could cut off her lifestream and this would be the end of her life. Whenever the Phase three is released, something must be done, for it could be the beginning to her death.
