Before DW
Xenogear's was the result of the wave existence's (U-DO) helping hand toward Fei wishing to set things right once and for all. Weltall-II is transformed into this state once it is exposed to the 4th dimensional energy through Fei's contact with the Zohar. He uses it to fight DEUS on a spiritual level in the path of Sephiroth and defeats it rescue's his love Elly and descends back to his planets surface.
Power Down
When Fei is pulled form his world the Xenogears somehow reverts back to original Weltall.
2nd Contact
During the simulation moments before the battle with 'The Master' Fei makes contact with the wave existance yet again. Weltall-II once again becomes the Xenogears.
Battles
Xenogears was most often used due to the situation as land combat unit only fighting in space on rare occasions. When the chaos emerald god Chaos appeared it was the Xenogears that aligned itself (in a similar manor to an Omnigear with Anima relics) to take on the call. Though Xenogears energy is infinite the emeralds allowed Fei to rapidly generate it without any forms of delay. This Xenogears held an ornate gold design where most of its white armor plates would be and is thought of as 'Hyper-Xenogears' the full powers of this state are unknown as Fei does not access the infinity level when it was used. It has not been seen since.
Other Uses
Xenogears has also been used as a ornament comically as the star atop a large Christmas tree for the Hikaru city Christmas festival when general Harrison attempted to out do the group in various performances. Xenogears was among other mecha in craft that also upstaged there air show.
Final Attack, Xenogears Dissapers
When Wilhelm takes over Zarathustra and tries to forcefully gain its power he takes on a massive giant form sharing a smiler likeness to DEUS despite U-DO's denial (in the form of Fei's first incarnation, or a Fei 'of' this dimension) of its power to him. The 'Dimensional Warriors' give it there all and confront it. Fei using Xenogears taps into the infinite power (and also manages to take 110% of an infinite possibility) of the Xenogears and his own powers and in one massive blast the Xenogears deals the final blow to Wilhelm who had transformed into a massive likeness of system DUES engulfing him in light. Moments later the extensive damage seems all but ready to destroy both Fei and the gear but something happens. An event that still has yet to be explained. Xenogears reverts back to 'Weltall-II'. The most popular theory as that with it Fei used more power than any one being on this plane could take and to compensate Xenogears powered down instead of being destroyed. Though that may not be the truth of the mater .... Since that time Xenogears has yet to reappear. It's believed if Fei reestablished contact with U-DO once more the answer to this event and the restoration of Xenogears may become clear.
Capabilities
Physical
Physically the Xenogears uses the same design as both 'Weltall' and 'Weltall-II' in that its responsive to Fei's movements allowing it to use Fei's martial arts to his advantage. Its body is made of an unknown semi-organic material and is considered to be a semi-sentient entity. Unlike 'Omnigear' or 'E.S' Xenogears is not powered by Anima-relics but is a product of energy mutation via the Zohar. Due to this any actions against it via Anima relics is ineffective. Its physical limits are currently unknown. Its capable of fighting underwater, in space, on land, and realms outside of physical space.
Magical
Xenogears energy capacity is unprecedented. If used as such it could possibly power several cities or more with its infinity drive active. It has no known limits and further increases natural ether abilities of its pilot 'Fei'. It can concentrate ether into raw energy in its palms and release palm lasers as well as into its leg blades and elbows. When the infinity level is in place energy wings protrude from its 8 spikes. Its believed it is a direct technological creation of the wave existence itself and thus would have been highly sought after if this truth had ever been completely realized being a power even beyond that of the ancient races.
