Using the Wikiform
Step 4: Decide your Characters Background, History, etc.

This part is entirely up to you. Most submissions are acceptable within reason, just as long as it works within the game. A few things we might say no to (and have seen) would be...

  • - Characters with no social ability (Predators, Xenomorphs, Jason Vorheez)
  • - Characters from Dragonball/Z/GT (Far too powerful to be considered)
  • - Matrix Characters (Too powerful, plus most characters from the Matrix are special NPC's)
  • - Naruto Characters (This is currently being debated, but experience says its too powerful to be allowed. This MAY change in the future)
  • - Anything that resembles the above list (

Step 5: Fill out Statistics

For statistics, you have 500 points to spend on...

  • Health: How healthy are you? (How much hp you have, how well you resist disease)
  • Dexterity: How well you move (Gives a bonus to rolls)
  • Strength: How strong are you (Determines damage and how large of an inventory you can have)
  • Endurance: How much you can endure before being seriously hurt (Reduces physical damage, Gives a bonus to avoiding death)
  • Intelligence: How intelligent are you (Determines mp, skill points)
  • Magic Affinity: Determines how attuned you are with magic user (Gives a bonus to magic rolls)
  • Spirit: Determines the strength of your magic (Magic Damage)
  • Will Power: Determines how much your will can influence others (Can be used to defend against magic, or reduce damage)
  • Luck: How lucky are you (Can be used to reroll rolls, rolled for random events or finding treasure)

Step 6: Feats

Feats are a fun part of the sheet. These grant your character above human abilities that put you above the rest of humanity. For example, super strength, heightened senses, or the ability to teleport or open portals are all feats.

A description of common feats is found on the message board, but feats can include special attacks as well.

The only type of special feat that exists are Statistic Improvement Feats, which change the way math is done on your sheet. Improved HP for instance, changes your hp from Health *40 to Health *60. These can only be taken every third feat.

If you desire a custom feat, select the 'Custom Feat' at the bottom of the list.

Step 7: Complete Skills/Advanced Skills

Moving on down the sheet, you have Intelligence * 4 skill points to spend on any skill you like. These are things your character knows how to do, ranging from running (Running skill) to your skill with firearms (Weapons Proficiency - Pistol). A few recommended skills are...

  • Running: Gives a bonus to running
  • Roll: Adds to dodging
  • Reaction: Adds to surprise dodges and some other useful rolls
  • Spot:Makes it easier to see important details
  • Weapons Proficiency/Martial Arts: Gives a bonus to attacking, as well as useful advanced skills
  • Arcane Arts: Required to cast spells

Adding a skill is as simple as adding a new skill under the right category, selecting the skill you want, and the level. Remember that you have a limit, and the form doesn't necessarily stop you from going over that limit. If necessary, you can save the form and come back to it after figuring out how much more you have to spend. For custom skills, select the 'Custom' option in a list.

Step 8: Finishing Up

When your done, go to the 'Other Notes' page and save the sheet. At this point, you need to make sure your skill points add up properly. Once your satisfied that your sheet is done, copy it into a new post on the New Characters board.

Once copied, you'll need to fill in the blanks for any custom skills/feats, as well as move skills into the right categories on the forum (IE: running goes into Athletic).
