Dimensional War RPG is an IRC RPG founded approximately six years ago on irc.starchat.net. It was originally founded as a small free form game, but over the years has swelled into a game played by many players, and is one of the largest (and longest running) games on irc.sorcery.net.

Currently, the game uses a dice system that is entirely unique to the game, and has been running with a consistent plot with no resets for the entire six year period, making it one of the longest running plot-based games on IRC. The plot revolves around people from alternate dimensions (fictions like Xenosaga, Stargate, etc) being thrown together and forced to survive in a new, far more dangerous world, and each plot strand is held together by original concepts. In short, it is a crossover game with an original storyline and expansion on the various sources that are used in the game.
